The European Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) supports rural development and the improvement of agricultural structures within the European Cohesion Policy framework. It consists of two sections: the Guidance Section and Guarantee Section.

As a member state which qualifies for Objective 1 status, Malta is benefiting from the EAGGF Guidance Section 2004-2006. EAGGF (Guidance Section) is one of the Structural Funds 2004-2006.
